What age can my child start?

We welcome children from age 2 in our Tiny Ballet classes, where foundational movement is explored through imagination and play.

How does the 2-week paid trial work?

Book your trial via our Book a Trial page. Miss Danielle will be in touch to arrange your two weeks. At the end, simply decide if you'd like to continue — no pressure, ever.

Where are classes held?

Most classes are held at Pontprennau Primary School, Cardiff. The building has a lift, on-site car park and is easily accessible from the M4.

When do terms run?

Do you prepare students for exams?

Yes, we offer RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) and ISTD examination classes. We have a 100% pass rate. Exams are encouraged but not compulsory.

Do you offer adult classes?

Absolutely! Adult ballet runs on Monday evenings, 7:30–8:30 pm at Pontprennau Primary School. All abilities welcome, including complete beginners.

How are qualifications recognised?

RAD and ISTD qualifications are OFQUAL-regulated, internationally recognised, and aligned with UK and Qualifications Wales frameworks.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, there is a lift in the building, an on-site car park, and the venue is easy to reach from the M4. All staff are DBS-checked.

Can my child join if they already attend another dance school?

Not without prior agreement between the principals of both schools. This is important for ethics, and because different educators have different teaching methodologies. Conflicting information can hinder a student's progression. En Pointe offers a well-rounded dance curriculum across multiple disciplines, so there should be no need to attend two schools.
